Volunteers experience firsthand the great work your program does and can speak with authority and “credibility” about the services your program provides to members.
Volunteers come from all walks of life and bring with them many skills. Perhaps their most endearing asset is a desire to help. We match volunteer skills to program needs during the orientation process. We ask volunteers about their work experience, skills, hobbies and interests, and find out why they want to volunteer in your program. Have choices available about the different kinds of roles they might fulfill—both in and out of the classroom.

Our mission is to engage with local technology companies, biotechs, research organizations and service providers to provide them with an opportunity to support ICET programs and women in our scientific community.
Our funding received through sponsorship supports events which are essential for ICET to continue supporting the programs.
Members will continue building relationships with executives in local scientifically-oriented companies, research institutes and service providers (from startups to large corporations!) in both public and private sectors.
Members conduct the research to identify potential sponsors who have a vested interest in the cause or whose values align with the event’s purpose. They maintain an updated database of potential sponsors, categorize them based on their relevance to the event, and prioritize outreach efforts accordingly.
Building strong relationships with sponsors is a core responsibility of the team. They establish open lines of communication, regularly update sponsors on event progress, and actively engage with sponsors to understand their expectations and deliver on them.
Demonstrate gratitude for financial support by ensuring that our sponsors receive the benefit of publicity and exposure to the local scientific community.
Sponsorship decisions are made by ICET team in the interest of ICET community at large
